MISSIONS/SERVICE DIMENSIONS

Manage the completion of SPS system fabrication, testing, and support hand-over to relevant other work packages in project organization, providing to those efficient aftermarket service as required.

ACTIVITIES

The service holder will:

• Adopt and demonstrate exemplary behavior with regards to H3SE, implement H3SE rules and requirements within his area of responsibility and comply with H3SE training requirements for the position.
• Adopt and demonstrate exemplary behavior with regards to the Company Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy and promote and enforce the Anti-Corruption Program in force.
• Oversee troubleshooting major and non-routine technical and project management problems related to engineering, qualifications, fabrication and testing of Subsea equipment, ensuring that related investigations, studies and works remain compatible with the project schedule. The job holder will investigate and diagnose the problem(s) and will propose mitigation and / or remedial actions, technical solution(s) and action plans, with respect to SPS & UFR technical requirements.
• Monitor contractors’ performance against project KPIs, identify Subsea onshore & offshore project risks, and guarantee development and implementation of risk response action plans for the risks and capitalization of potential opportunities.
• Actively promote the above actions plan, follow its progress and provide support for its implementation with the Technical Leader and all Discipline Engineers, as well as with the Contractor’s Engineering and fabrication team
• Liaise with other Project Work Package teams such as but not limited to D&C (Drilling & Completion), UFR (Umbilical, Flowlines and Risers) and Field operations, as well as with Corporate Specialists for some specific subject(s).
• Provide support to the SPS & UFR qualification / testing / tooling / tie in leader and ensure that related works and testing are completed satisfactorily in a timeframe compatible with the project schedule.
• Work in liaison with the Project Control team and be responsible for the technical evaluation of change order and consolidation of claim / counterclaim dossiers.
• Following this, the job holder shall also be responsible for the preparation of the technical part of change order dossiers to be submitted for partners and concessionaire approval.
• Pro-actively support interfaces follow-up activities and contribute to their resolution across all work packages and contracts related to SPS.
• Assist with mobilization of SPS equipment & tooling required for components integration, onshore operation and offshore installation
• Report to Subsea manager any area of concern
• Gather ‘lessons learnt’ and provide feedback as required

CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT

In October 2024, TotalEnergies announced the Final Investment Decision for the GranMorgu development on Block 58 in Suriname. This deep offshore oil project aims to develop nearly 700 million barrels of reserves, with the FPSO unit expected to start production in 2028. The multidisciplinary GranMorgu project team, managed by TotalEnergies E&P, coordinates development studies to optimize reserves, schedule, costs, and GHG emissions while maintaining high technical quality and H3SE standards. GranMorgu exemplifies TotalEnergies' transition strategy, focusing on economic and social impact on Suriname and minimizing greenhouse gas emissions. As a flagship project for TotalEnergies, GranMorgu requires support to enhance its reputation and awareness.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Master’s degree in engineering
• Get an exhaustive knowledge of SPS - related Company Rules and Specifications (CR’s/GS’s), international norms and standards, for application to his duties and extended
• Get an exhaustive knowledge of SPS - engineering and operational problem(s) in order to investigate potential causes, diagnose them and propose technical solution(s) with respect to SPS and relevant installation & operation - technical requirements associated to UFR and D&C perimeter,
• Professional Experience (years): 20
• Experience in Project (years): min 10 with full expertise of SPS & UFR equipment engineering and fabrication.
• Good communication skills, dynamism, high motivation, ability to convince, organized, leadership and ability to put issues into perspective Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
• Languages: Fluent in English and French
