Job Description

Subscription Fulfillment Specialist

Who we are?

Cansel helps organizations capture, transform, and manage geospatial and field data so they can move information from field to finish faster, with greater accuracy and profitability.

Our subscription and licensing operations sit at the core of that flow—ensuring customers stay active, supported, and unblocked so their work doesn’t stop.

Cansel is a growing, operationally complex organization with a strong focus on structure, reliability, and continuous improvement.

We are looking for a highly capable SAP and Salesforce operator who understands how strong system discipline drives operational performance.

This role is best suited for someone who enjoys working inside structured enterprise systems, can manage high volumes of transactional detail, and takes pride in keeping complex workflows clean, accurate, and moving.

You will work across SAP, Salesforce, and vendor platforms to ensure subscription, licensing, and warranty processes are executed correctly and efficiently.

This is not a passive data entry role—this is an execution-critical operations function where system accuracy directly impacts revenue, renewals, and customer continuity.

This position is based in Eastern Canada and reports to the Subscription Fulfillment Manager. Preferred locations include Halifax/Dartmouth, Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto, or Ottawa.

What you will do

You will be a key part of the operational backbone supporting subscription, licensing, and warranty fulfillment across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Execute end-to-end subscription, licensing, and warranty transactions across SAP and Salesforce
  • Own transactional integrity across ERP and CRM systems (order accuracy, status updates, renewals tracking)
  • Process and manage purchase orders, vendor orders, and licensing requests (including Trimble workflows)
  • Issue, reconcile, and maintain licenses, warranties, and subscriptions through operational systems
  • Manage high-volume operational queues (shared inboxes, renewal tracking, order pipelines, support channels)
  • Coordinate cross-system data flow between SAP, Salesforce, and vendor platforms
  • Support Sales and Technical teams with fulfillment-related escalations and system resolution
  • Identify process breakdowns between systems and contribute to continuous workflow improvements

This role requires comfort working in structured systems where accuracy, timing, and traceability matter. This is a role where execution quality matters. Small errors can create downstream customer and revenue impact.

What success looks like

In this role, success means:

  • Orders and licenses are processed accurately, consistently, and on time
  • SAP and Salesforce records are accurate, aligned, and consistently maintained
  • Minimal rework due to attention to detail and process discipline
  • Internal teams trust your output because it is reliable and predictable
  • Operational queues are actively managed, not reactive or backlogged
  • You become a stabilizing force in a fast-moving operational environment
  • You identify and help improve inefficient or unclear processes

About you

You are a strong SAP and Salesforce user who understands that systems are only as good as the discipline behind them.

You likely have:

  • 2+ years of experience using SAP (or similar ERP systems)
  • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce (or similar CRM platforms)
  • Confidence navigating ERP/CRM systems in high-volume, detail-sensitive environments
  • Strong attention to data integrity and a disciplined approach to execution
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work across teams
  • A natural tendency to take ownership rather than wait for direction
  • Confidence learning new systems and operational tools quickly
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)

Nice to have:

  • Experience in survey, geospatial, software licensing, or subscription industries
  • Bilingualism (French/English)

Why join us?

At Cansel, we’re building a high-trust, high-performance environment where great people can do their best work without unnecessary friction.

We offer:

  • A competitive compensation package that reflects the value you bring
  • A flexible, comprehensive health and dental benefits program
  • A stable, long-term role in a growing organization
  • Clear priorities and predictable, well-structured workflows
  • A high-autonomy environment where ownership is expected and supported
  • The flexibility to do your best work without unnecessary bureaucracy
  • A low-drama, highly collaborative team culture
  • A dependable, organized team that values execution over noise
  • A role where you can take ownership of outcomes—not just tasks

This is a role for someone who prefers clarity over chaos, ownership over hand-holding, and steady execution over constant firefighting.
