
Subject Matter Expert - Air Force Sustainment, Engineering, and Growth Strategy
The Senior Executive Advisor provides strategic leadership and advisory services to support business growth, customer engagement, capability development, and investment planning across the Department of Defense marketplace. Serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, the position leverages extensive executive-level experience within the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC), Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), Air Force Test Center (AFTC), and depot sustainment enterprise.
This position requires a retired Senior Executive Service (SES) leader with deep expertise in aerospace engineering, software development and sustainment, avionics engineering, maintenance repair and overhaul activities, acquisition logistics, advanced manufacturing, test and evaluation, and technology modernization. The advisor will assist corporate leadership in identifying and shaping new business opportunities, evaluating strategic investments, aligning company capabilities with customer requirements, and developing long-term growth strategies. Position is part-time with up to 25% travel.
