Your role:
Be part of a team that helps deliver critical capability to the Australian Defence Force. As a Contract Specialist, you'll work closely with Program Managers, Commercial Managers and key stakeholders to support the successful delivery of Defence contracts and commercial outcomes.
In this role, you will:
Support the administration and management of Defence contracts throughout the contract lifecycle.
Coordinate contract deliverables, customer correspondence, reports and governance requirements.
Develop contract change proposals and ad hoc services submissions.
Maintain accurate contract records, registers and management tools.
Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to support program success.
Contribute to contract reviews, continuous improvement initiatives and compliance activities.

About you:
You are a proactive and detail-oriented contracts professional who enjoys collaborating with others, managing competing priorities and delivering quality outcomes.
You'll bring:
A degree in Business, Law or a related discipline.
Experience in contract administration or commercial support.
Strong communication, planning and organisational skills.
The ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Experience within Defence.
Defence industry, ASDEFCON contracting or aviation environments will be highly regarded. Eligibility to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence security clearance is essential.

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable, as such your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
