Subcontracts Administrator / Contracts Analyst

Hybrid | Contract role with potential to convert to full time | 25+ hours per week

Quest Energy Group is recruiting a Subcontracts Administrator / Contracts Analyst for a well respected company in the offshore and marine industry. This is a hybrid contract opportunity with a collaborative team and a strong company culture. The role may grow into a full time position.

We’re open to someone who has administered subcontracts in an industry setting, as well as a law student or emerging contracts professional who can work at least 25 hours per week. What matters most is careful document review, strong organization, and the judgment to recognize when a contract issue needs attention.

What you’ll do

Help prepare, review, issue, track, renew, and close out subcontract agreements.

Review existing vendor and contractor records to identify missing, expired, or incomplete agreements.

Check subcontract documents for accuracy, consistency, required approvals, and alignment with company procedures.

Flag unusual terms, exceptions, gaps, and potential risks for review by the contracts or legal team.

Maintain contract files, status trackers, correspondence, and supporting procurement documents.

Work with procurement, project teams, vendors, and contractors to keep agreements moving.

What we’re looking for

Experience in subcontract administration, contracts administration, procurement, project administration, or legal support; or relevant legal education with strong availability and an interest in commercial contracts.

Ability to read agreements closely, manage multiple deadlines, and keep detailed records.

Clear written communication and confidence following up across teams.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning contract or document management systems.

At least 25 hours of availability per week for a hybrid schedule.

Experience with service agreements, purchase orders, change orders, insurance documentation, or contract closeout is helpful. A background in offshore services, marine operations, oil and gas, engineering, or construction is a plus, but is not required.
