Job Description

We are currently seeking a Subcontracting and Estimating Engineer in INTERNSHIP, reporting directly to Section Head, to join our team based in our Rome offices, c/o Construction Department, Italy.

About the role:

• Preparation of cost estimate for construction subcontracting works, either during proposal/FEED or project phases, according to the specific proposal/project subcontracting strategy.
• Bid and Award of Subcontracts for the execution of Construction works.

The role and tasks include the following main activities:

• Participates in the proposal or subcontract development process;
• Analyzes tender requirements;
• Collects bill of quantities;
• Performs preparation, assembly and issuance of call for bid, addendums, and tender clarifications;
• Performs and deliver the Construction Cost estimate and benchmarking of construction costs;
• Ensures sourcing and qualification of bidders;
• Performs preparation of Construction man-hours estimate;
• Performs bid tabulation;
• Implements the subcontracting management strategy of the project;
• Performs negotiation and award the subcontracts;

Starting Date: 2nd quarter 2026

About you:

• Graduated in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Energy, Chemical.
• Fluent knowledge of spoken and written English.
• Teamwork attitude.
