Position administers ~$2.6B in annual procurements. Manage various Major Systems (both avionics and vehicle systems) across multiple programs. Direct the organizations day-to-day operations and responsible for integrating supply chain initiatives. Ensure release plans and commodity strategies support development, production and sustainment for all programs. Assure adequate capabilities, competencies and capacity in the supply chain to meet demand. Develop, train, and promote workforce vitality. Manage procurement groups for request for proposal (RFP) activity, negotiations, awards, post subcontract award - supplier performance for assigned components, services and commodities. Manage procurement group to meet program targets/estimates at completion (EACs), small business goals, etc. Manage and influence critical path releases of SOWs and plans to align with required schedules and supplier lead times. Develop and implement long term agreements (LTAs) and category strategies for assigned commodities, services and/or components. Develop and maintain standard work practices that support the Procurement mission.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related experience.
• Demonstrated program/project management skills.
• Ability to develop long-term strategies and tactical plans to achieve enterprise objectives.
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR ) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR).
• Financial and commodity trend analysis skills.
• Industry prime negotiation experience and customer interface.
• Experience developing and implementing affordability improvement initiatives.
• Experience with subcontract cost, quality, schedule and technical program performance.
• Experience executing lean processes and initiatives.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Customer interface experience.
• Demonstrated capability for program capture/proposal and material strategy development.
• Demonstrated learning agility.
• Experienced at identifying and building organizational talent.
• Ability to successfully interface and interact with all levels of the organization and the supply base.

Desired Skills

• Experience with Supply Chain in International and Domestic environment.
• Strong organizational skills to handle many overlapping projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience managing procurement and/or sourcing teams.
• Demonstrated negotiations experience in a Truth in Negotiations (TINA) environment.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $180000.00 - $325000.00

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
