Responsibilities:
• Prepare, administer, and manage high value subcontracts (typically $700K+), task orders, and modifications.
• Lead negotiations with external partners.
• Review subcontractor solicitations and provide recommendations to proposal and program teams.
• Structure, negotiate, and execute complex subcontract agreements, including pricing and terms/conditions analysis.
• Manage multiple subcontractors, ensuring performance, compliance, deliverables, schedule, and invoice accuracy.
• Resolve subcontract performance issues and ensure adherence to FAR/DFARS, company policy, and customer requirements.
• Maintain regular communication with senior leadership and program teams on negotiation status, risks, and subcontract health.
• Provide clear interpretation of subcontract terms and advise program management on rights and obligations.
• Recommend updates to subcontract policies, templates, and procedures.
• Serves as a mentor and subject matter resource for junior and mid level Subcontracts Administrators, providing daily guidance, coaching, and hands on support.
• Demonstrates a proactive, team focused mindset and is willing to assist peers at any moment, especially during high volume periods or complex negotiations.
• Reviews subcontract packages prepared by teammates and offers clear, constructive feedback to elevate overall team quality and compliance.
• Helps develop training materials, reference guides, and best practice resources to strengthen team capability and consistency.
• Supports leadership in fostering a collaborative, responsive, and solutions oriented team culture.
• Support process improvements, onboarding efforts, and development of training materials.

Qualifications:

Required:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–4+ years of government subcontract administration experience.
• Strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and GSA Schedules.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, analyzing, and negotiating subcontracts and related agreements.
• Ability to develop and track requirements matrices, amendments, and subcontract modifications.
• Experience supporting SOWs, RFQs, and RFPs, including preparing and evaluating responses.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical, finance, and program teams.

Desired:
• Experience with P2P
• Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• CFCM or related contracting certification.
• Prior experience mentoring or supporting peer development.

Pay Range

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$61,600 - $129,300
