Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is currently seeking applicants for a Subcon Operations Manager

Job Location: Krubong, Melaka, Malaysia

What you will be doing:

  • Manage a Subcon operations team responsible for the planning, process, product and quality

  • Project Management on Product & Package transfer from Internal Factory to Subcon through to characterization, qualification, and release phases

  • Project Management on New Product Introduction to Subcon from product definition and development through to characterization, qualification, and release phases

  • Lead the team in defining the forecast and needed capacity.

  • Coordinate the wafer support, loading releases and delivery commitment dates.

  • Drive yield monitoring and yield improvement actions in Subcons to meet defined KPIs.

  • Work with Subcons in analyzing processes and quality issues. Review corrective actions for effectiveness and ensure they are implemented and fanned out as needed.

  • Provide day to day line sustaining support. Coordinate with Subcons to get the needed support for engineering evaluations and other engineering activities

  • Review and establish Subcon baseline specifications and procedures

  • Establish Subcon rating and ranking system with quarterly/half yearly review.

  • Reporting to the Subcon Operation Director

What you will bring along:

  • 10+ years’ hands-on experience in Operations management in a Semiconductor manufacturing company. Exposure on MOSFET Power Discrete and/or Power Management Product is highly preferred.

  • Proficiency in English Language, Problem Solving, communication & presentation skill

  • Works efficiently under pressure

  • Be able to make overseas trip by request.

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
