Job Description

We are seeking a Sub-Regional Director of Student Support to join our welcoming Education Team on a full-time, permanent basis, commencing ASAP.

Reporting directly to the Regional Director of Student Support, the Sub-Regional Director of Student Support provides strategic leadership and oversight of student support across a cluster of campuses, supporting 7 campuses in Victoria and 2 campuses in Tasmania.
The role is responsible for ensuring the consistent implementation of the Student Support Framework, policies and procedures, while supporting Campus Principals to lead effective, compliant and high-impact student support practices within their schools.
Key responsibilities include coaching and guiding Campus Principals and Student Support teams, delivering training, and conducting audits to ensure the quality implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), interventions and curriculum adjustments. The role also monitors student progress through regular reviews of support registers, learning plans and assessment practices, ensuring that feedback is translated into actionable improvements.
In addition, the role ensures compliance with disability legislation, oversees disability provisions and examination accommodations, and supports campuses with funding applications and transition planning.
A central focus of this position is building staff capability, maintaining strong partnerships with key stakeholders, and ensuring all student support practices align with OneSchool Global’s ethos, values and Learning to Learn Framework.
The successful candidate will also be expected to travel to campuses, as required, to provide on-site support, strengthen relationships and ensure consistency of practice across the sub-region.
This role can be based at any of our VIC based campuses.

About You

Essential:

• Proven leadership experience in student support, inclusive education or a related educational role.
• Strong knowledge of disability legislation and inclusive education practices.
• Experience developing and reviewing Individual Education Plans (IEPs), interventions and curriculum adjustments.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and support school leaders and student support staff.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.
Desirable:

• Experience supporting funding applications and disability provisions.
• Experience delivering professional learning and conducting compliance audits.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly to campuses within the sub-region.
