The Lockwood Group supports the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) Logistics Center by providing lifecycle logistics, sustainment, and training support for critical aviation and weapon systems programs. This effort supports the planning, coordination, development, and execution of New Equipment Training (NET) activities to ensure operational readiness and mission success across multiple small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) platforms.
The program supports the development, fielding, modernization, and sustainment of advanced UAS capabilities through coordination with Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAEs), Capability Developers (CAPDEV), Materiel Developers (MATDEV), Training Developers (TNGDEV), logistics personnel, and operational units throughout the lifecycle of the weapon system.
A qualified candidate is able to live near Huntsville, AL, has been a SUAS Master Trainer and is able to travel up to 50% (CONUS) from Huntsville to field and train on UAS Group 1 and Group 2 platforms consisting of two trips per month, one week duration each.
