Job Description

The role

As a Stylist in our Photo Studio team at NEXT, you will play a crucial role in bringing our products to life and delivering high-quality imagery that aligns with our creative direction. Specialising in Still Life Cutout Sets, overhead, tabletop, and ad-hoc shoots, your creative eye will directly shape how our customers experience our brand.

You will work closely as part of a fantastic, collaborative in-house team, taking valuable guidance and direction from your Senior Stylist and Creative Lead to help you get started and thrive in our dynamic studio environment.

What you'll take on

  • Deliver high-quality Still Life photography for the NEXT customer, ensuring styling remains consistent across our website while meeting studio productivity targets.
  • Create inspiring styling and product mood boards that align with the business's creative direction.
  • Work collaboratively with Photographers, other Stylists and the wider Studio teams to meet goals
  • Stay ahead of the curve by researching new trends, street style, social movements, and competitors to bring the right aesthetic approach to every shoot.
  • Utilise generative AI and prompt engineering to successfully streamline your concept development and image generation processes.
  • Maintain the flexibility to work at other NEXT studios and external studios.

What you'll bring

  • A strong background in still life styling, alongside proven experience in E-commerce and editorial styling for both model and product shoots.
  • Exceptional communication and listening skills, allowing you to effectively take direction and collaborate smoothly within a team.
  • Organisational, planning, and workload management capabilities to handle detailed, hands-on tasks effectively.
  • A commercially minded approach with up-to-date awareness of retail fashion and lifestyle trends.
  • High competence in using MAC operating systems.
  • A Full UK Driving Licence is desirable
