Study Coordinator-Immunochemistry

Labcorp is seeking a Study Coordinator-Immunochemistry to join our team in Shanghai, China.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Study setup responsibilities.
  • Create study folder based on award emails
  • Maintain PI assignment for specific sponsors
  • Collaborate with the internal teams regarding cost confirmation.
  • Track for the finance budget submission. Submit work order change if applicable.
  • Support for import permit application of critical reagents and cross validation samples
  • Translated the study files based on client requests.
  • Participate in study related process improvement initiatives.
  • Learn to train and mentor less experienced team members.
  • Study closes out responsibilities.
  • Archive related data after study finalization.
  • Calibrate final budget to ensure all the lab activities reflect in budget submission.
  • Keep track for study samples disposition.
  • Lead communication with clients regarding study activities.
  • Participate in non-study related meetings with clients and internal study teams.
  • Collaborate with clients regarding new service requests or changes to reporting scope. Submit work order change if applicable.
  • Track for the finance budget submission. Submit work order change if applicable. Address client comments and queries on budget submission.
  • Support any further deliveries to meet regulatory submission.
  • Serve as the primary contact in communication with clients in actual service explanation and internal process explanation when needed.
  • Independently plans, prioritizes and manages workload and multiple responsibilities.
  • Independent utilization of project tracking tools to track and document data and report activities.
  • Maintains well documented, organized and up-to-date study files including study correspondence.
  • Able to independently assist study team in monitoring overall study progress.
  • Independently manages increasingly complex projects and key clients.
  • Partner with other Labcorp departments and business units and provide integrated support and process improvements as needed.
  • Develop an area of expertise within the department.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in biology, medicine or other analytical fields.
  • Three years of experience as a project coordinator in large molecule bioanalysis.
  • Three months or more experience using computer and office software applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, MS-Access and Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Three years of experience in GLP/GCP field.
  • Strong technical aptitude.
  • Customer Service experience.
  • Have PMP certification.

Additional Job Standards:

  • Efficient use of word processing software, database, spreadsheet and specialized software
  • Proficient in concise writing. Writing should require little or no external review or edit.
  • Adherence to grammar, punctuation, composition and spelling accordingly to company standard conventions.
  • Experience on a variety of studies performed in the department and exposure to a diverse client base.
  • Knowledge of regulatory agency guidance.
  • Proven ability to participate in and assist Study Director/Principal Investigators with pre-initiation and other study related meetings as required.
  • Proven ability to manage increasingly complex projects and study designs and/or increased workload.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage work for key clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to support and be involved in process improvement initiates and endeavors.
  • Proven ability to plan, prioritize and manage workload and multiple responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently use project tracking systems as appropriate.
