Job Description

๐ŸšจStudio Operations Associate WANTED
๐Ÿ’ฐCompensation: $25โ€“28/hr
๐Ÿ“Location: Los Angeles, California, United States (Onsite)

โœจ The Role

The Studio Operations Associate sits within a central team that services every production under the TubeScience Studios roof. Youโ€™ll rotate between hands-on set support, equipment preparation and fulfilment, and client product provisioning and shipping depending on what the studio needs most on any given day.

This is a role for someone who's operationally sharp, physically comfortable on a production floor, and energized by the variety of keeping multiple productions running smoothly at once.
If you've worked as a production assistant and are looking for broader operational scope โ€” building expertise across gear, product logistics, and set operations while supporting a full portfolio of productions rather than a single crew โ€” then this is for you.

๐Ÿ’ผ What You'll Do

๐ŸŽฌ Provide on-set operational and logistical support to production teams, including setup, breakdown, talent coordination, and general production assistance

๐Ÿ“ฝ๏ธ Execute direction from production team leads during active shoots while upholding the professional and safety standards of the Studio Operations team

๐Ÿšš Coordinate equipment logistics for shoots โ€” including collection, transport, and return of rented gear, in partnership with the broader Studio Operations team

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Collaborate on the end-to-end gear fulfilment workflow: receive reservation requests, prepare orders, and ensure gear is staged and ready for studio and location productions

๐Ÿ” Maintain gear inventory accuracy through daily condition checks and monthly audits

๐Ÿงฐ Track and manage production consumables and tools, ensuring stock levels are maintained and distribution is documented

๐Ÿ“‹ Maintain accurate product inventory records across all check-out, check-in, shipping, and restocking activity

๐Ÿค Serve as the point of contact for product returns, including condition assessment and documentation

๐Ÿงน Maintain the general tidiness of the studio and production workspaces and ensure sets are prepared and reset between bookings

๐Ÿ“ˆ Identify challenges within studio operations workflows and bring proactive solutions to the team

๐Ÿ”‘ Who You Are

๐Ÿ™‹ 1โ€“2 years of experience in production operations, studio coordination, or a comparable hands-on production environment

๐Ÿง  Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks across multiple productions and teams

๐Ÿ’ฌ Excellent communicator, able to work collaboratively with diverse teams and adapt to different working styles

โšก Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-team environment where priorities shift quickly and the balance of responsibilities changes day to day

๐Ÿ’ป Working familiarity with inventory, reservation, or project management platforms (e.g., Cheqroom, Monday.com, or similar)

๐Ÿ’ช Comfortable with physical production tasks: gear handling, set setup and breakdown, product staging, and shipping logistics

๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿคโ€๐Ÿง‘ Team-first mentality with the maturity to operate under a central operations team rather than aligning to a single production crew

โ›‘๏ธ Familiarity with relevant industry standards and on-set safety regulations

๐Ÿ“ Based in Los Angeles โ€” this role requires full-time onsite presence at TS Studios and on locations in the LA metro area

โœจ Nice to Have

โ€ข Working familiarity with industry-standard grip and electric equipment
โ€ข Experience supporting multi-team or multi-set production environments

About TubeScience

As one of the fastest growing startups in Los Angeles, we're revolutionizing the way in which companies approach successful video advertising. Our team of award-winning Producers, Editors, Directors, Engineers, and Performance Marketing Managers are building a global studio where we can conceptualize, shoot, and produce hundreds of videos per day. Unlike traditional advertising agencies that pitch creative concepts for companies, hope they will perform, and outsource filming, we design videos that are guaranteed to convert. We use data to guide our creative process and leverage testing and analysis to make adjustments to react to users in real-time.

What's atypical about the company:

We're fast and data-driven: our teams develop concepts in the morning, shoot/edit in the afternoon, launch in the evening, and iterate the next day based on real-world performance.

Weโ€™re a behavioral R&D lab at the core: We put 2,000+ video experiments per week, watched by tens of millions of people per day, that give us deep insights into how people make decisions. Over the past couple years, weโ€™ve built an enormous library of IP around human behavior and visual communication.

We work on a pure pay for performance basis. Zero production fees for video. Clients only pay us if our videos outperform anything theyโ€™re running internally.
