We are looking for a dynamic Studio Manager to join a fast‑paced, growing boutique fitness studio. This is an exciting opportunity for a high‑performing, motivated individual to take ownership of a thriving wellness space and lead both the team and the member experience.

The successful candidate will drive studio performance, lead the Front of House team, and ensure the studio operates to exceptional standards every day. This role blends leadership, commercial responsibility, and a passion for outstanding service — ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.

The Role...

● Salary: £30,000 – £33,500

● Working Days: Tuesday – Saturday

● Shift Pattern: Early, late, and occasional outreach days

● Benefits: Cycle to work scheme, free membership, additional holiday for birthdays and length of service
● Location: Angel

This role offers an excellent opportunity to step into a key leadership position within a vibrant boutique studio. As Studio Manager, you will be the heartbeat of the space — responsible for performance, culture, and ensuring every member leaves feeling great. If you’re ready to take on this exciting challenge and grow your career in the wellness industry, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Deliver Outstanding Customer Experience
  • Act as the visible leader in the studio, ensuring every member feels welcomed and supported.

  • Build strong, genuine relationships with members to understand their needs and feedback.

  • Lead by example, setting the tone for service excellence across the team.

  • Use member insight to continuously improve the studio experience.

  • Ensure any disruption to members is handled calmly and professionally.

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation across all areas.

Drive Studio Growth & Commercial Performance
  • Take ownership of the studio’s commercial performance, including revenue and class utilisation.

  • Respond to all inbound sales opportunities daily and conduct proactive outreach.

  • Manage corporate sales, group bookings, and local partnerships.

  • Review trends to understand what works, what doesn’t, and why — including class formats, timing, instructor performance, and audience demand.

  • Identify opportunities to drive additional value through workshops, events, and partnerships.

Lead & Develop the Front of House Team
  • Lead, motivate, and inspire the FOH team to deliver exceptional service and hit sales targets.

  • Create and manage the rota, ensuring adequate cover at all times.

  • Source and arrange last‑minute cover when required.

  • Communicate updates and key information clearly and promptly.

  • Coach the team to actively engage with prospective members and confidently sell memberships.

  • Handle employee issues and rota disputes professionally and fairly.

Deliver Operational Excellence
  • Ensure the studio is safe, spotless, and fully operational at all times.

  • Oversee equipment and facilities, resolving issues quickly to minimise disruption.

  • Complete and log all Health & Safety checks in line with protocols.

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation across the studio.

  • Manage the class schedule end‑to‑end, ensuring it meets member demand and supports commercial goals.

  • Fix and manage on‑the‑day issues swiftly and calmly.

The Person

  • Proven leadership experience in a customer‑facing environment, ideally fitness, wellness, or hospitality.

  • Commercially driven with a strong understanding of sales and performance metrics.

  • Exceptional people skills — warm, confident, and able to build strong relationships.

  • Calm under pressure, with strong problem‑solving abilities.

  • Excellent communicator who can motivate teams and maintain high standards.

  • Passionate about creating exceptional experiences for both members and staff.

  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.

  • Flexible and committed to working Tuesday–Saturday, including early mornings and evenings.
