Students at NMIT are full-time students undertaking a two year programme of full time study towards a Level 4 Certificate in Aeronautical Engineering. These students have a good understanding of how an engine works but benefit from exposure to the workplace.
The student will participate in the work experience programme for a period of eight weeks through various areas of the business.
Production Leaders in the students 'areas are responsible for ensuring each student has a ‘buddy’ assigned to them to assist, supervise and include them in the team during work and break periods.
NMIT students are paid the minimum wage while they are with the CHCEC.
All students must complete the pre-employment alcohol and other drugs test and medical questionnaire.
