
The Joseph A. Unanue Latino Institute (JAULI) seeks motivated student leaders to serve as Student Workers supporting Institute programs, partnerships, and initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in leadership development, event planning, communications, and community engagement.
Student workers serve as ambassadors of JAULI, contributing to program execution, campus collaboration, and institutional initiatives while developing professional skills in a dynamic higher education environment.
Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of JAULI programs and events
Lead up to two (2) programs per semester in collaboration with Institute staff
Support co-sponsored events and campus partnerships
Represent JAULI at events, meetings, and Open House programs
Contribute to preparation efforts for the Generaciones Gala, including outreach support
Assist with communications efforts, including newsletters, social media, and promotional materials
Engage professionally with students, faculty, alumni, and external partners
Participate in monthly JAULI community meetings and leadership discussions
Complete assigned special projects and administrative tasks as needed
Currently enrolled student at Seton Hall University
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Professionalism and reliability in representing the Institute
Willingness to engage in leadership development and campus involvement
Availability to work up to 20 hours per week, including occasional evenings for events
Must be registered as a full time student for Fall 2026 and be eligible for Federal Work Study.
