What We Are Looking For
Baylor University is seeking multiple Full-Time TIP Teaching Assistants and Full-Time Lead TIP Teaching Assistant to support the mission and vision of Baylor University and serve within the School of Education’s TIP Program. Baylor TIP Residential Summer Program Teaching Assistants (TAs) provide supervision and mentoring to the students who qualify for and participate in summer residential programs offered through The Center for Gifted Education and Talent Development. TAs are responsible for supporting students during the academic day. They report to an assigned instructor and assist in teaching a course that is appropriately rigorous and challenging for high ability students. They also supervise students during class breaks and lunch and may lead a one-hour evening study session with the students in their class.
An Advanced Undergrad (120 credit hours) OR 2 years of Undergrad coursework, and zero years of experience are required. Relevant professional experience may substitute for some credit hours.
