We are seeking a friendly and motivated Barista/ Retail Associate to join our team at 1892 Supply. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and customer service, and will thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages to customers

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop

- Provide exceptional customer service and engage with customers

- Operate coffee equipment and ensure proper maintenance

- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies

- Follow health and safety guidelines

Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a barista or customer service role is preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions

- Passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing methods

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

Requirements

• Must be a GU Student (Enrolled Spring 26 and enrolled for Fall 26)
• Experience in food service management, preferably in a coffee shop or restaurant setting.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
