Description

Student will assist faculty members in the psychology program in such areas as grading papers, proctoring tests and quizzes, entry of grades into gradebook, correspondence with students , scheduling of appointments, etc. The job entails meeting with professors periodically and working 3-5 hours a week over the course of the fall and spring semesters. It is unlikely that any services will be needed during
Interterm. The work times
are flexible and will be determined in consultation with the professor at mutually convenient times.
Students will only meet
with professors during normal business hours at the university, but they may be given work to complete at their own discretion, which can be done outside of those normal business hours.


Requirements

Student must be a sophomore level or above GU student, with at least a 3.0 cumulative g.p.a. Additionally, the student must have taken General Psycholgy at Greenville University in the face-to-face section, not online. Ideally, the student would be a psycholgy major or minor, but that is not a requirement. The ability to type and a working familiarity with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and D2L is necessary. Finally, the ability to follow directions and work independently and with confidentiality is paramount.
