Job Title: Student Worker - MA Intern for the Black Student Coalition

Work Schedule: M-F 6-10 hours a week, will work with student

Desired Length of Employment: Ongoing

Pay Rate: $8.00/hour

The MA Intern will work collaboratively with one of the three multicultural student coalitions in
order to best serve the community by chairing the coalition, communicating opportunities, and
planning large-scale events.


Job Functions:

  • Will serve on at least one heritage month committee
  • Opportunity to serve of Student Life Committee (This Matters or Cultural Competency)
  • Attend student organization general meetings and events as assigned
  • Communicate MA events and programs to peers through social media and other avenues
  • One hour of cultural competency training per week
  • Researching and developing new programming to meet the needs of the university
