Desired Length of Employment: Fall/Ongoing

Pay Rate: $10.00/hr-$12.00/hr

• Officiates various intramural events, including flag football, basketball, softball, volleyball, and soccer.
• Attends training sessions for each event – at the conclusion of training, each official is expected to know all rules and policies pertaining to each event.
• Assists in managing risk by checking playing surfaces and player equipment before each event.
• Keeps track of the score and statistics for all intramural events.
• Is responsible for all equipment on his or her field/court.
• Aids in setting up/taking down of all equipment for events as directed.
• Needs to be adept in positively interacting with all intramural participants and staff, including resolving conflicts that may arise.
• Encourage the Baylor Community to live active and healthy lives
• Assist in assigned area of responsibility
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors
• Participate in various activities and tasks related to health and recreation
• Adhere to and ensure safety procedures and precautions are followed
• Perform business operations duties for assigned area of responsibility
• Provide excellent customer service to clients
• Ability to prioritize and take initiative
• Assist with various projects, activities and tasks related to business operations
• Ability to comply with University policies
