Desired Length of Employment: Fall/Ongoing
Pay Rate: $10.00/hr-$12.00/hr
- Officiates various intramural events, including flag football, basketball, softball, volleyball, and soccer.
- Attends training sessions for each event – at the conclusion of training, each official is expected to know all rules and policies pertaining to each event.
- Assists in managing risk by checking playing surfaces and player equipment before each event.
- Keeps track of the score and statistics for all intramural events.
- Is responsible for all equipment on his or her field/court.
- Aids in setting up/taking down of all equipment for events as directed.
- Needs to be adept in positively interacting with all intramural participants and staff, including resolving conflicts that may arise.
- Encourage the Baylor Community to live active and healthy lives
- Assist in assigned area of responsibility
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors
- Participate in various activities and tasks related to health and recreation
- Adhere to and ensure safety procedures and precautions are followed
