Student Employment Opportunity: Dissector
**This position is for current Palmer College of Chiropractic students only.
Function:
The purpose of the Life Sciences Dissector is to assist the department faculty with obtaining lab specimens out of cadavers for teaching purposes.

:
Dissectors will complete the following tasks under the supervision of a member of the department faculty:
- For dissection all human cadavers and preparation of prospected specimens to be used in teaching labs.

Qualifications:
- Dissectors need considerable skill and patience
- Profound knowledge of the human anatomy
- Must have completed the course they are dissecting for with an A or high B
- May be required (by some faculty) to have a Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a Biology related field
- Previous dissecting experience is preferred
- Interviewed by the course instructor
Student’s length of employment will be from the date of hire until termination either by student or the supervisor not to exceed the student’s graduation from Palmer College.
