Job Title: Student Worker - Barista

Work Schedule: Variety of shifts available.

Desired Length of Employment: Ongoing

Pay Rate: $12

Each semester a student returns with a positive review, they will receive a .50 cent raise, schedule flexibility, a free meal with every shift worked, and opportunities for growth.

Prepares and serves coffee, espresso drinks, and beverages to standard.

Provides friendly, efficient customer service to all guests.

Operates the register and processes transactions accurately.

Maintains a clean, organized workstation and restocks supplies as needed.

Follows safety and sanitation guidelines for equipment and food handling.

Performs other duties as assigned.

• May assist with cleaning or sanitation of food serving areas
• Adhere to safety procedures and sanitation rules
• May assist with food service setup and breakdown in dining halls, meetings, events
• Provide excellent customer service
• May collaborate with other staff or student employees to ensure assigned designation is operating smoothly and efficiently
• May assist with answering questions and resolving complaints related to food services
• May assist in preparing food and beverage items
• May operate kitchen equipment
• May operate point of sale system to process orders or payments
• May stock and replenish food, beverages, condiments, and other service supplies
• Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
• Ability to comply with University policies
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
