Position Title:
Student Worker - Athletic Academics (Work-Study)The Mount St. Mary’s University Athletics Academic Office is in search of an organized and reliable student assistant to support the needs of the office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The principal responsibilities of the student assistant will be as follows:
Assist Academics for 8 hours a week, with evening and weekend work required.
Monitor student sign-in and sign-out and supervise students throughout the study hall period.
Maintain a quiet, safe, and respectful environment.
Answer basic questions and direct students to the appropriate staff member when needed.
Report attendance, behavior concerns, or other issues to the designated supervisor.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when working with students.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Salary and Hours
Students are paid the current minimum wage for Maryland.
Students will work a total of eight (8) hours per week.
