Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The Be Well BU Program Assistants are
responsible for promoting and executing events and programs that support
Belmont University's Be Well BU initiative in line with university and
departmental strategic priorities. They will collaborate closely with Division for
Student Formation graduate assistants and various campus departments to provide
impactful programs designed to enhance student well-being. The Be Well BU Program
Assistants operate under the guidance of the Associate Dean of Students,
Student Well-Being.
Primary Duties
& Responsibilities:
•
Assist with planning, promoting, and executing wellness programming events and
targeted wellness education for students.
• Support and implement student
wellness initiatives, including programs that promote mental health, increase
access to supportive resources, and address basic needs such as food security.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of a comprehensive
communication, marketing, and social media plan for the Be Well BU program.
•
Create and deliver presentations about student well-being as requested.
•
Collect and review pertinent assessment data in reports submitted on a weekly,
per-semester, annual, and per-event basis.
Secondary Duties
& Responsibilities:
Required QualificationsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong event planning, marketing,
and communication skills required.
- Health promotion experience preferred
- Skilled in utilizing social media, design, and other marketing
platforms
- Ability to work mainly during business hours and some
evenings/weekends.Required EducationMust be enrolled as a student at Belmont University. Graduate or undergraduate studies in Sports Administration, Public Health, Design, Media, Marketing, Leadership, or related health, business, communication, or educational field is preferred Required ExperienceNo experience required.
