The Summer Fellow is an 8-week or 4-week student researcher who engages in an intensive, full-time research or creative project over an eight-week summer period under the guidance of a faculty mentor. Summer Fellows are expected to contribute meaningfully to their academic field through independent or team-based research, creative work, or applied projects, and to participate fully in the intellectual community of the campus during the program. Applications are reviewed by the Student Achievement in Research and Creativity Committee and/or the FUTURE program leaders.
