Job Description

The Student Success Liaison is responsible for implementing Restorative Practices in the assigned school or program. The Student Success Liaison will work directly with youth and adults to resolve conflict, build positive relationships with school staff, monitor student progress, and promote the program within the school.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor Degree preferred
  • Ability to work effectively with youth
  • Ability to organize and prioritize cases and day-to-day responsibilities
  • Background in Restorative Practices, required
  • Excellent decision making, problem solving skills, and de-escalation skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications
  • Excellent organizational and record keeping skills
  • Ability to maintain professional conduct at all times
  • Ability to work effectively with people of diverse cultural backgrounds


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effectively communicate with staff, families and community.
  • Responsible for the implementation and outcomes of behavior management for targeted students.
  • Assist with entrance and exit criteria for Restorative Practice.
  • Work closely with administration, counselors and teaching staff to ensure student support.
  • Meet with students daily to provide guidance, re-direction and encouragement to and complete follow ups with student, teacher and family in a timely and organized fashion.
  • Document student agreements and follow ups with student, teacher and family in a timely and organized fashion.
  • Collect outcomes data for conferences/mediation and follow-ups.
  • Process conference/mediation intakes with students and staff.
  • Work with professional/certified staff within the district to align practices.
  • Assist with building logistics to build and maintain strong relationships with students and staff.
  • Work with staff and outside agencies such as Youth Assistance to support proactive, intervention efforts.
  • Monitor student progress in online learning platrform.
  • Other duties as assigned by the principal.


SALARY
Position contracted through EduStaff.

Schedule
Student calendar plus four additional days (total 185 days). 7 hours per day.
