
Position: Knowledge of or experience in the organization and administration of special education athletic programs and activities.
JOB GOAL To provide every student with an opportunity to participate in co-curricular athletics and clubs/activities that will foster physical skills, a sense of belonging, worth and competence; opportunities for friendship, and the principles of fair play and sportsmanship. Additionally, serves as the All-Abilities Week Coordinator for elementary buildings.
Essential Functions:
Skills: Organization, time management, communication skills, positive behavioral management techniques, task analysis (ability to break down larger tasks/skills into teachable steps), sports knowledge and coaching techniques.
Calendar: Winter & Spring
Hours Per Week: Regular school year. As many hours as needed to complete performance responsibilities.
Salary and Benefits: $2,000.00 annually

Glenbard District 87 encompasses 45 square miles within DuPage County, a suburban area some 30 miles west of Chicago.
