You as a Student Security Administrator will:

• Physical SecuritySpecifics For physical securityroles, tasks might include assisting with asset management tracking.
• Inventory:Itemizing documents and creating a naming & control system.
• Monitoring and Analysis Monitoring securitysystems, logs, to detect potential threats or unauthorized access attempts.
• Risk and Vulnerability Assessment Conducting vulnerability assessments of applications or networks, and helping implement controls to mitigate risks.
• Policy and Compliance Assisting in the development, review, testing and enforcement of securitypolicies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Project Support Collaborating on security-related projects, which may involve implementing new securitytools, designing solutions, or managing project coordination tasks.
• Reporting and Documentation Collecting securitymetrics, preparing reports and maintaining documentation related to securityassets and processes.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• SharePoint experience considered an asset.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
