Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary

Conduct background research and literature reviews to support a publication examining the impacts of future climate change on streamflow and water supply across U.S. and global river basins.

Responsibilities

• Conduct background research and identify relevant scholarly articles and sources.
• Review and summarize current research related to future streamflow projections.
• Analyze scientific literature and compile findings to support research objectives.
• Assist with the preparation, writing, and editing of content for publication in the Encyclopedia of Climate Science.
• Organize and maintain research materials, references, and supporting documentation.
• Perform other related research and administrative duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Familiarity with conducting scientific literature searches using databases and search engines such as Google Scholar and Web of Science.
• Ability to utilize research tools and technologies to review, analyze, and summarize scholarly articles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively follow directions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Desired Qualifications

• Familiarity with climate models and climate assessments.
• Interest in climate science, environmental research, or a related field.
