Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary

Seeking a Research Assistant (RA) to utilize Large Language Models (LLMs) to extract, organize, and analyze data from large-scale datasets. The position requires experience with coding and working with LLM-based tools and workflows. This appointment is expected to continue through the end of 2026, with the possibility of extension through 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Large Language Models (LLMs) to extract, organize, and analyze data from large-scale datasets.
  • Validate and review extracted data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality.
  • Assist with data cleaning, organization, and preparation for research and analysis.
  • Perform other research-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency in coding and programming.
  • Extensive knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Experience using LLMs for data extraction or text analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage large datasets.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience using AI-powered tools, such as ChatGPT and other generative AI platforms, to support research, data analysis, or productivity tasks.
