About Private Investment Operations (PIO):
PIO plays a crucial role in the settlement of capital funding and distribution transactions, quarterly market value updates, monthly reporting, and the preparation of IFRS financial statements for private investments. These investments span private equity, infrastructure, renewable resources, private debt and hedge funds.

Process invoices and assist in the settlement of investment transactions.
Conduct bank and various investment reconciliations, as well as handle ad-hoc accounting or operational tasks.
Apply accounting principles and analyze financial data received directly from investments, ensuring appropriate accounting treatment.
Assist in the execution of projects under the guidance of senior team members.
Contribute to the development of accounting procedures and establish standard operating procedures for the financial reporting of investment activities.
Maintain the filing system and provide support to the PIO analysts as required.
Completion of third year undergraduate studies in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
Must be enrolled in a co-operative education program and returning to full-time studies following the completion of the work term.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
Exceptional attention to details and an ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Quick and adaptable learner.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Previous bookkeeping and/or accounting experience is an asset.
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and principles, including International Financial Reporting Standards and Canadian GAAP (ASPE) are an asset.
Ability to analyze and interpret financial data, prepare financial reports, draw conclusions, and make recommendations based on information presented.
