Job Description

Summary:

The Student Placement role within our charity organisation in Albany, Western Australia, is designed to provide valuable hands-on experience for individuals looking to develop their skills in the voluntary sector. This part-time, entry-level position offers an opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects while gaining insight into the operations of a charitable organisation. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our mission and making a positive impact in the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of community outreach programmes
  • Support fundraising activities and events
  • Engage with volunteers and help coordinate their activities
  • Maintain accurate records of activities and participant engagement
  • Provide administrative support to the team as required
  • Contribute to the development of promotional materials and social media content

Qualifications:

  • A passion for community service and charitable work
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Basic organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Previous volunteer experience is an advantage but not essential
