We are looking for a working student or intern to support our virtualization team. In this role, you will assist with the operation and support of virtualization platforms while gaining hands-on experience in VMware and/or OpenShift environments.
Support Level 2 engineers in daily operations of virtualization platforms.
Assist with troubleshooting issues in VMware or OpenShift environments.
Help monitor system performance and availability.
Support maintenance and improvement of virtualized infrastructures.
Contribute to automation tasks using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
Document processes and support activities.
Work with internal teams to resolve technical issues.
Participate in operational support tasks as needed.
Basic knowledge of VMware virtualization or OpenShift Virtualization.
Understanding of IT infrastructure concepts (virtualization, storage, networking).
Familiarity with Linux or similar operating systems.
Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is a plus.
Knowledge of Git is highly appreciated.
Status of University student in Slovakia, availability to work 20 hours per week.
Ongoing studies in IT, computer science, or a related field.
Initial experience through coursework, labs, or internships is beneficial.

We offer you a part-time internship position (20h/week). An internship salary starting up from 8€/h, depending on your skills and previous work experience is offered.
