In an environment of continuous quality improvement, the Student Nurse is responsible for maintaining enrollment in an accredited Nursing School. The Student Nurse will need to submit all required paperwork to show that status as a student is in good standing. Exhibits the MHS Standards of Excellence and exercises strict confidentiality at all times.

Job Functions:

1. Maintains nursing student status throughout the program.
2. Submits all necessary documentation in a timely manner.
3. Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary.

Minimum Education/Experience Required:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Maintain good standing with a registered nurse program.
• Submit grades at the end of the semester required.
• Provide proof of enrollment for next semester required to demonstrate continual progress.

Special Knowledge, Skills, Training:

• Verbal, clerical, numerical, and manual dexterity, color vision and near visual acuity, proper lifting techniques and body mechanic.

Compensation Details: Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
