Works under the direction of a responsible RN to provide safe, efficient, age-specific nursing care to patients and families in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and/or sustain optimal health status.What You Will Do
Direct patient care delivery (includes ADL’s, hygiene measures, select treatments, patient/family education, discharge preparation)Communication and documentation of interventions and observationsParticipation in quality improvement processInvolved in learning and self-improvementInitiates and maintains a positive relationship with patients/customers and coworkersDemonstrates a professional demeanor when responding to patients/customers.Additional Responsibilities

Current enrollment in one of the following accredited nursing programs:• Diploma RN program• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) program• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) program• Master’s Entry Nursing (MN) program (Required) and Completion of a direct patient care clinical as part of a Registered Nursing program is required, including patient care activities such as ambulating, transferring, bathing, and grooming. Thorough knowledge of nursing process and practice. (Required proficiency) Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies (i.e. stethoscope, thermometers, glucometers, and electronic monitoring devices).
