Job Description

Pay Rate: $10 per hour

As a marketing and social media attendant for Tulane Campus Recreation, your primary responsibility is creating engaging and informative content for various platforms to promote Campus Recreation facilities and its services. Your job is to create content that will inspire and motivate current and potential members to join and stay engaged with Campus Recreation.

We are looking for attendants who specialize in videography and photography and are comfortable in front of a camera.

Your primary job responsibilities include:

  1. Social Media Content: You will create Reels and other video content, from ideation to execution, to entertain and engage Campus Recreation’s followers. This includes creating videos of current members and staff, capturing intramural game highlights, and promoting special events.
  2. Videography: You will be responsible for filming and editing promotional videos showcasing the gym's facilities, equipment, and services. You may also create workout videos and other instructional videos in collaboration with Campus Recreation personal trainers to help gym members get the most out of their workouts.
  3. Photography: You will be responsible for taking photographs of Campus Recreation facilities, members, and events. You may also be responsible for editing these photographs and ensuring they are ready for use in various promotional materials.

Other responsibilities may include:

  1. Writing: You may write or assist with writing scripts for social media content, social media post captions, and/or content for our Wellness Blog.
  2. Outreach: You may be asked to table on campus to promote Campus Recreation events or initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you should have a passion for fitness and wellness, experience in content creation, and excellent communication skills. You should also be familiar with social media platforms, video creation, and photo/video editing software.
