St. Francis Xavier University is seeking a Student Life Coordinator to provide key administrative and operational support for Student Life programs and services. This role supports the coordination of student leadership initiatives, residence engagement programs, and campus events, while serving as a primary point of contact for students, parents, and campus partners. The Coordinator provides administrative support to the Event Review Committee, helping oversee risk management and approval processes for student clubs and societies. Responsibilities also include maintaining secure records, supporting case management activities, and contributing to the effective delivery of student engagement and support initiatives across campus.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the planning, logistics, communications, budget tracking, and staff training for major student-focused events and programs throughout the academic year.
Provide administrative support to the Event Review Committee, including event tracking, communication with organizers, meeting preparation, and follow-up activities.
Administer campus event promotion platforms and maintain records and reporting related to student engagement and events.
Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, budget administration, and record management for Residence Councils and related committees.
Receive, process, and track student appeal requests, coordinating confidential documentation and communications with the Appeals Committee.
Monitor and respond to inquiries received through the Student Life general email account and direct students to appropriate supports and services.
Coordinate student onboarding and transition programs, including registration, communications, completion tracking, reporting, and related administrative processes.
Maintain accurate records and support the development of secure file management and documentation practices.
Provide project coordination and administrative support for departmental initiatives and student engagement programs.
Assist with student leader recruitment, hiring, payroll processing, documentation tracking, and eligibility reviews.
