Job Description

Duties will include:

  • Answering lab phone calls and emails.
  • Managing lab documentation (e.g., digitize files, filing papers, organize digital files).
  • Managing lab schedules.
  • Data entry.
  • Assisting with inventory monitoring and documentation.
  • Creating research and outreach materials.
  • Recording meeting minutes.
  • Assisting with internal and external communication and reminders.
  • Creating reference lists and search for research articles.
  • Performing all tasks in accordance with IRB and research protocols, Department of Nutrition standards of professionalism, and data security and privacy compliance.

The hourly rate for this position will be $14.60-$15.60, depending on experience.

Qualifications

Must have previous experience as a lab research assistant or research intern at the university level. Must have paid work experience that involves interacting with customers, research participants, or the general public. Must have strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
