Your Role

As a High School Summer Intern onsite in Gensler's Los Angeles office, you will join our Communications and Marketing studios for part-time, paid internship opportunity.

What You Will Do

  • Work with our Communications, Marketing and Research teams on various assignments

  • Support Communications Managers, Internal Communications Specialist, Presentation Designers with a variety of both internal and external communications and marketing projects

  • Shadow team members in areas of interest and learn skills associated with those roles

Your Qualifications

  • You have completed your junior year of High School

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required

  • Able to use search engines and trusted online sources to compile simple research

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and willing to learn tools such as SharePoint, Adobe Suite (especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)

  • Strong command of grammar and great written communication skills

Your additional characteristics

  • Demonstrated leadership ability in school and/or community

  • Aspires to study communications, marketing, business, design, real estate, or a related discipline

  • Open to feedback and eager to explore different aspects of communications and marketing work
