Overview

The Office of Student Research (OSR) at Middlesex University Dubai is seeking a motivated and organised Student Intern (SI) to support the work and initiatives of the Office.

This role provides students with the opportunity to gain practical experience in research support, academic administration, and project coordination while working closely with the OSR faculty team.

Role Purpose

The Student Intern will assist the OSR with a range of research-related and administrative activities that support the Offices projects, initiatives, events, and operations.

The responsibilities of the role may vary depending on the needs and priorities of the OSR.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• 
  Assisting with research-related tasks and projects
• 
  Supporting data collection, entry, organisation, and preliminary analysis
• 
  Assisting with administrative and operational activities of the OSR
• 
  Supporting preparation of reports, presentations, promotional materials, or other research outputs
• 
  Conducting desk-based and online research tasks
• 
  Maintaining records and documentation related to OSR activities
• 
  Undertaking other duties as assigned by the OSR faculty team

The Student Intern is expected to:

  Work professionally and collaboratively with the OSR team
• 
  Maintain confidentiality where required
• 
  Complete assigned tasks within agreed timelines

  Submit updates or logs of completed work where requested
