The GIS Student Intern 2 supports storm water infrastructure operations by conducting field inspections and collecting geospatial data for integration into Wayne County’s GIS systems. Interns will work closely with storm water structure cleaning crews to document real-time inspection data, ensuring accurate tracking and long-term asset management.
This position is highly field-based and requires extended hours outdoors and in county vehicles. Interns will gain hands-on experience in GIS applications, infrastructure inspection, and civil/environmental systems.
