Job Description

The H&S Pathways student employee will aim to support its students as they explore potential academic pathways at Ithaca College. The student employee works with the current directors, administrative assistants, and other staff to plan, staff, and set up events. Applicants should feel confident in their communication and organizational skills and knowledge of the Ithaca College academic services and social events.

Responsibilities:

Attending weekly meetings with directors and other staff

Holding monthly meetings to keep PALs up-to-date on program changes and updates

Planning and assisting with events throughout the semester, including:

Communicating with directors and administrative assistants about ordering supplies

Designing flyers/ promoting the program and events on social media

Informing PALs of regular and special meetings

Recruiting PALs to volunteer for events

Advertising events on campus, etc.

Coaching explorers on registration before and throughout the registration period (fall and spring semester)

Must have knowledge of the H&S Exploratory Pathways services, capabilities, and associated faculty/instructors of Pathways students

Post regularly to maintain online engagement on Engage, Intercom, and Instagram; may need to have or develop facility with Drupal

Pay Rate: 15.50
