About the opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Student Fees Officer to join our Student Fees team within Students Portfolio in the Division of Academic Registrar. In this role, you will support the effective and compliant delivery of student fee administration, working closely with colleagues across the University to provide timely, accurate and service‑focused support.

This position plays an important role in ensuring students receive clear, consistent and high‑quality advice on fee‑related matters.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • work closely with the Student Fees Team Leader, Student Fees colleagues, and staff across Students Portfolio

  • deliver daily administrative activities that support the effective operation of the Student Fees team

  • assess, process and resolve student fee‑related enquiries and applications in line with University policies and procedures

  • review and update online content, systems and communications to ensure information is accurate and current

  • coordinate student fee schedules and monitor deadlines to maintain service standards

  • build productive relationships with internal stakeholders to support consistent and coordinated service delivery.

About you

  • experience in student administration or a similar operational role, ideally within the higher education sector

  • ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures and fee‑related guidelines

  • strong administrative capability, including managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines

  • proficiency with Microsoft Office and confidence working across multiple systems

  • ability to analyse enquiries, identify appropriate actions and escalate matters when required

  • tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Please note that as part of the selection process, you will also be required to undertake an online Excel test.
