
The Clinical Project Assistant provides administrative and project support to clinical research and imaging programs within the Reading Centers of the University Hospitals Eye Institute. This role supports clinical operations, research documentation, data organization, and project coordination, working closely with clinical investigators, research coordinators, and regulatory staff.
The position is well-suited for students or early-career individuals interested in clinical research, healthcare operations, biomedical sciences, or regulatory affairs.
Key Responsibilities
·Provide administrative support for clinical research and imaging-related projects
·Assist with project coordination tasks, including tracking deliverables, timelines, and documentation
·Perform data entry, data verification, and quality checks for research or project records
·Organize and maintain study files, logs, and project documentation
·Support compliance-related tasks, including accurate recordkeeping aligned with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines (training provided as needed)
·Perform general office and project support duties as assigned
Salary Range: $12.55 – $14.25
Required Qualifications
·Strong organizational skills with careful attention to detail
·Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
·General computer proficiency, including basic to intermediate use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
·Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
Preferred Skills
·Strong written communication and editing skills
·Familiarity with clinical research environments
·Interest in medical research, imaging, or healthcare operations
Working Conditions
·Primarily office-based, with periodic time spent in clinical or research office environments
