Job Description

  • Position Summary
  • Temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant position available in Advancement Services.
  • Start Date
  • Position available on or after October 8, 2026 and ending on or before May 21, 2027. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
  • Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Assist with data entry and maintenance in Raiser's Edge.
  • Answer incoming calls, respond to general email inquiries, and greet visitors.
  • Assist with filing, document compilation, and general clerical support.
  • Assist with conference room scheduling, meeting setup/cleanup, and event logistics.
  • Assist with incoming and outgoing mail distribution and campus errands.
  • Assist with visitor parking coordination through Public Safety.
  • Provide support for special projects and University Advancement events, including guest check-in and RSVP tracking.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including occasional work outside normal business hours.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are required.
  • This position requires data entry accuracy, excellent written communication, and the ability to follow confidentiality practices.
  • Effective communication skills as well as ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks with appropriate follow through.
  • Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Dependable and able to follow-through on assignments.
  • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
  • Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.
  • Salary Range
  • $16.90 per hour.
