Job Description

We are looking to hire a " Student Counsellor" for one of our clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or above education qualification or equivalent Professional qualification
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in the international student recruitment industry
• Excellent communication skills and convincing ability with stakeholders
  Ability to develop a strong and positive relationship with overseas universities and partner institutes
• Knowledge and understanding of the international student recruitment sector including university admission and visa processing
• Good teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English and computer literacy

Responsibilities:

• Counseling Services: Provide one-on-one and group counseling to students regarding academic, emotional, and social issues.
• Develop personalized action plans and strategies to support students' needs.
• Crisis Intervention: Address urgent or crisis situations promptly and effectively. Provide support and referrals to appropriate resources when needed.
• Academic Guidance: Assist students in setting academic goals, managing stress, and overcoming obstacles to their success.
• Provide advice on study strategies, time management, and academic planning.
• Workshops and Programs: Develop and facilitate workshops, seminars, and programs on topics such as stress management, career planning, and personal development. Promote participation and engagement.
• Assessment and Referrals: Conduct assessments to identify student's needs and recommend appropriate interventions or referrals to external professionals or services.
