The Theater Department is seeking to hire student employees to serve as costume shop artists/technicians for the academic year. Essential duties include, but are no limited to:

  • Creating and maintaining costumes in costume shop for all theater department productions and events.
  • This position requires some of physical work and the ability to lift at least 20 pounds.

Work-study eligible students welcome.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Rate of Pay: $16.45/hour
  • Minnesota Sick and Safe Time
  • Minnesota Paid Family and Medical Leave
  • Not eligible for health insurance benefits

Qualifications

  • Enrolled as a student at Augsburg University and work-study eligible.
  • Candidates must have completed a theater practicum.
  • Experience with sewing and costuming a plus.
  • Knowledge of fabrics and materials.
