Role: Student Behaviour Administrator

Academy: Outwood Academy Riverside

Start Date: 01/09/2026

Salary (Actual Salary): £21,957 - £22,305

Working Pattern: 37Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday, Term Time plus 5 days

Do you possess the firm yet compassionate approach needed to manage behavior interventions and support students in developing better learning habits? Join us as a Student Behaviour Administrator, playing a key role in raising standards of behaviour for learning. You will manage the consequences provision, ensuring a structured environment where students can reflect, progress with their work, and overcome barriers to achieving their potential.

Welcome from the Principal:

We are a free school in the centre of Middlesbrough, and we do things differently! Do you?

As Principal, I am proud to introduce you to Outwood Academy Riverside, an innovative free school within a nationally renowned Trust that nurtures talent and provides high-quality professional development.

Opened in 2020, Riverside is a special place to work with genuine care for every family member. Our community is built on core values, including kindness, compassion, respect, and integrity. We maintain academic rigour and high expectations, resulting in very good behaviour and attendance that is above the national average. Students face no 'glass ceiling' and benefit from exceptional personal development opportunities (including Cadets, MiSST, and LAMDA).

This is a unique opportunity to join an inspirational team making history. We are currently on Russell Street (with a satellite site in Eston) and are planning a move to a new, state-of-the-art facility by 2027.

If you genuinely love working with children and will go above and beyond for our young people, we would love to hear from you. Would you like to be part of this journey?

Working under the direction of senior staff, you will coordinate the support provision for students requiring behavioural intervention, primarily through the management of the Consequences Room. Duties include timely contact with parents to communicate behaviour, Consequences, or exclusions.

You will be responsible for arranging, organizing, and supervising appropriate work and/or specific skills development with individual students. You will liaise with parents, external agencies, education welfare, and the police regarding confidential and complex issues. The role requires maintaining the Consequences Room environment and meticulously recording all C4 and C5 behaviour incidents onto the MIS system.
